and then run it twice; while the bug is happening and while it is not happening: sudo drm_info > while-display-is-off.txt sudo drm_info > while-display-is-on.txt Please also run: journalctl -b0 > journal.txt and then attach all three text files here. P.S. Nvidia 580.82.09 is not officially supported yet, it is only available from pre-release archives. P.P.S. It's likely a higher quality HDMI cable is required for this setup. If you can then please use DisplayPort, USB-C, or USB-C-to- DisplayPort instead of HDMI.
