The vast majority of recent hits of this bug still show this kernel message at 
the time of the crash:
> kernel: simple-framebuffer simple-framebuffer.0: swiotlb buffer is full

The thread stacktrace also shows llvmpipe running (though I'm not sure
what date the visible stacktrace on errors.ubuntu.com was generated)
