ghhh, thanks @paride for pointing me out on a side-channel that this FFe is for 
`sudo`, not `sudo-rs`. Here is my rational then:
If I understand correctly, both `sudo` and `sudo-rs` are currently provided, 
with the default `sudo` command pointing to `sudo-rs`. That would mean that 
`sudo` is still provided, but has a fairly low chance of being invoked by a 
script (due to not being the default), which means a fairly low chance of 
breaking anything at this point (except maybe the workflow of users explicitly 
calling it, which is what we want to test).
If my understanding is all correct, then I would be +1, but again, please wait 
for a formal +1 from a release team member.
