Public bug reported: I'd like to request the librespeed-cli be back-ported from plucky to noble-backports to make it available to users of Linux Mint. Mint 22.2 LTS is based on noble.
AFAICT the only cli speed testing tool available for noble-based distros is the Python tool speedtest-cli (https://github.com/sivel/speedtest- cli) which appears to be abandonware. In my own experience in testing VPN speeds it also often simply does not work. If the package is back-ported I'd aim to do a post on the Linux Mint forums to promote its use. Thank you for your consideration. ** Affects: librespeed-cli (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: noble-backports -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2128999 Title: [BPO] request backport to noble-backports To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/librespeed-cli/+bug/2128999/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
