Public bug reported:

I'd like to request the librespeed-cli be back-ported from plucky to
noble-backports to make it available to users of Linux Mint. Mint 22.2
LTS is based on noble.

AFAICT the only cli speed testing tool available for noble-based distros
is the Python tool speedtest-cli (https://github.com/sivel/speedtest-
cli) which appears to be abandonware. In my own experience in testing
VPN speeds it also often simply does not work.

If the package is back-ported I'd aim to do a post on the Linux Mint
forums to promote its use.

Thank you for your consideration.
