Please forgive me my not proficient knowledge (I'm not a expert here,
just trying to use ubuntu as a daily)

What i don't understand is that when i try to clean up my software source
location why doesn't it delete the software source files.
From my experience when i delete it from gui the system is still trying to
check the source that is in sources.list.d folder.
You can see in the video where i don't have steam in my software sources but
it's in sources.list.d folder and it simply works it gets updates and
everything.
However most probably i was trying to remove steam and than re installed it and
never noticed that gui doesn't contains that even though i though i removed it.
For example i was upgrading from ubuntu 24.10 and had it's version of wine
source added, after upgrading to 25.04 i was getting errors from wine update.
Where i noticed that even though i removed it to gui and added 25.04 source it
was still calling to 24.10
So what is the problem of just deleting the file from sources.list.d when i
delete it from the gui.
The video shows that if i do it than the source gets added as expected for a
user like me.
I love clean desk policy and like to delete unused sources turns out that i
wasn't actually doing anything just only on visual side this is post made me
relies this
