The media session manager is generally in control of setting volume levels, so I reassigned to wireplumber. Please can you run
pw-dump > pw-dump.txt And attach pw-dump.txt to the ticket. Also, try enabling debug logging, wpctl set-log-level D wpctl set-log-level 0 4 And the reproduce the issue with your volume slider. Disable the debug logging afterwards with, wpctl set-log-level - wpctl set-log-level 0 - And run journalctl -b > journal.txt Attach the journal.txt here too. Hopefully there will be some clues in those outputs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2085820 Title: Volume Control Buttons Jump to Extremes on Ubuntu 24.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wireplumber/+bug/2085820/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
