Nothing concerning there IMO. The debug logging command was for a newer
version of Wireplumber. It would be useful to see if there's any clues
in it.
Try this on 24.04,
systemctl stop --user wireplumber
Ensure "Active: inactive (dead)" is in the output of
systemctl status --user wireplumber
Then start wireplumber
WIREPLUMBER_DEBUG=D /usr/bin/wireplumber |& tee wireplumber-debug.txt
And reproduce the volume slider issue. Then attach wireplumber-debug.txt
here.
It might not necessarily be a Wireplumber issue, but hopefully more can
be inferred from those logs about what is happening here.
