I believe this issue is related to SSSD. I found a number of Dependency failures for SSSD NSS, SSSD PAC, SSSD PAM, SSSD SSH Service responder socket. As well as a Dependency failure for AutoFS Service responder socket.
I disabled the network shares I had configured in fstab, and restarted. The system was able to boot into 6.17.0-6 without issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2129972 Title: Ubuntu 25.10 can't boot with 6.17.0-6-generic kernel on encrypted fs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2129972/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
