(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #127) > So I'm afraid the dream of "remember all window positions automatically > without apps having to do > anything" is dead, sorry.
Kidding? This draws wayland DOA. For years and years I read news about wayland becoming the new default. Every time I tried it instantly crashed (what about live kernel patching, BTW... also standard for as long as Elon's FSD). For about a year it's actually stable as a daily driver. But it's still not able to even place windows on the proper virtual desktop! Dafuq?! Consider yourself lucky that it can resize windows!11!! What is this? A call to switch to the Mac for good?! We will have hoverboard before wayland is going to be usable as a product. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335761 Title: Placement policy 'Remember' by default for all windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-default-settings/+bug/335761/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
