Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 25.10, Firefox no longer places windows on the same
desktops as before logout.

I have a 4x4 array of desktops. Upon startup, I had different Firefox
windows on specific desktops. After logout and login, Firefox would
restart, with all the same windows and tabs, on the same desktops as
before logout.

After upgrading to 25.10, Xorg/Gnome seems to be gone, and rather than
being organized after startup, it's a dog's breakfast, with all windows
for everything appearing on desktop 0,0. I then, instead of being
productive and continuing with whatever useful task I have to do, I have
to spend several minutes figuring out which window is supposed to go
onto which desktop so I can be productive again.

I'm sure there's some good reason for switching to xwayland, but being
productive doesn't seem to be one of them. Please restore this
functionality, so I can be productive again.
