After even more testing, tcpdump analysis reveals the PC is not receiving ARP broadcast packets from other devices.
When monitoring with `sudo tcpdump -i wlp129s0 -n arp`, ARP requests (who-has 192.168.50.xx) do not appear at all. However, when the PC sends any packet (e.g., pinging the other device), it then begins receiving broadcasts normally. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2130371 Title: mt7925e WiFi driver fails to respond to ARP requests until triggered (kernel 6.17) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2130371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
