My apologies for the late reply. I’m no longer using mdevctl in the way I did when I found this issue, and I currently don’t have a suitable test environment available. I also understand that it should be possible to test this using vfio-mdev/mtty, but I haven’t had the time or technical capacity to set this up properly for now. If all consider the fix reasonable, please proceed accordingly.
