Public bug reported:

Wersja: Linux kernel 6.8.0 Pakiet: linux-image-6.8.0-xx-generic Sprzęt:
AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT (Navi 44 / RDNA 4) Środowisko: Linux Mint 22.2
(oparty na Ubuntu)

Hello,

I am reporting a regression in the amdgpu driver for the Navi 44 (Radeon
RX 9060 XT) GPU, specifically affecting sensor visibility.

Observation: The GPU temperature sensor is correctly visible and
accessible via lm-sensors and the /sys/class/drm/card0/device/hwmon/
path in kernel version 6.8.0-84.

Regression: The sensor is no longer visible (i.e., not listed by sensors
command) and the path for direct temperature read fails with "No such
file or directory" in the following newer kernel versions:

6.8.0-85

6.8.0-86

6.8.0-87 (Latest tested version)

The issue persists despite trying sensors-detect, adding amdgpu to
/etc/modules, and using amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xffffffff in GRUB.

Attached Logs: I have provided comparative log files for the working
state (_68084) and the broken state (_68087_BROKEN) for analysis. These
logs should highlight the difference in amdgpu driver initialization.

Thank you for looking into this regression.
