Thanks to everybody who worked on this bug report. Since this bug hasn't
been experienced with the ubuntu version of pidgin yet, I set the status
of the bug report to invalid. To help Pidgin developpers to fix this

If somebody can reproduce this bug with pidgin from ubuntu repositories,
the status of this bug should be set back to new.
