I'm also experiencing this problem after upgrading to 25.10 on a Dell XPS. At seemingly random times, my screen brightness goes to the lowest level, the brightness slider in the settings menu disappears, and changing brightness with the laptop's dedicated keys does not affect the brightness (even though an indicator appears as if it was working). Rebooting the laptop seems to fix the issue for awhile: sometimes a couple minutes, sometimes a couple hours. The battery level does not seem to impact when this occurs.
