I recently had this happening a lot, so I disabled all my extensions and have been enabling them one-by-one. I currently have the "ddterm" and "Hibernate Status Button" user extensions enabled, but enabling these didn't immediately trigger the issue.
This week, I have noticed it happening a few times a day, and it's always been triggered by clicking a link in a Thunderbird email that opens in Firefox. The caret remains wherever I was last typing (which may be a third application), and the only reliable way I've found to sort it out is to press the Super key to activate "Present windows", then I can type as normal again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107678 Title: focus stealing prevention fails for keyboard only when switching to firefox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2107678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
