I've never tried to use fsc with NFS, but netfs is apparently incompatible in a few ways with advanced NFS features (e.g. I just learned, in speaking with a colleague, that NFS4.2's Client Side Mirroring also doesn't work).
Obviously this isn't ideal, but even if it doesn't work extra effort should be made to make LOCALIO and fsc mutually exclusive. I can add this work item to my TODO and get it fixed in upstream Linux but I don't have an ETA due to other conflicting work. For now, please don't use fsc with NFS loopback mounts if LOCALIO enabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2125678 Title: Upgrade from 6.14.0-29 to 6.14.0-32 results in locked up login sessions on systems with nfs mounted home dirs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2125678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
