I had another chance to do some testing, but kernel 6.14.0-36 has been released in the meantime.
Firstly, it seems the bug is resolved in kernel version: 6.14.0-36.36~24.04.1 nfs volumes mounted with fsc option are working fine without any lockups. For completeness I did more testing with 6.14.0-35: nfs volumes mounted WITHOUT fsc work fine nfs volumes mount WITH fsc lock up Using the "nfs.localio_enabled=N" kernel command line option made no difference. (I think that is what Mike was expecting in #11 above.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2125678 Title: Upgrade from 6.14.0-29 to 6.14.0-32 results in locked up login sessions on systems with nfs mounted home dirs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2125678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
