I had another chance to do some testing, but kernel 6.14.0-36 has been
released in the meantime.

Firstly, it seems the bug is resolved in kernel version: 6.14.0-36.36~24.04.1
nfs volumes mounted with fsc option are working fine without any lockups.


For completeness I did more testing with 6.14.0-35:
nfs volumes mounted WITHOUT fsc work fine
nfs volumes mount WITH fsc lock up
Using the "nfs.localio_enabled=N" kernel command line option made no 
difference. (I think that is what Mike  was expecting in #11 above.)
