Public bug reported:
When Kubuntu is left untouched, its screen goes blank.
I have found this problem on VMware Workstation Pro 17.4.6. No extra
packages are installed.
Note that to refuse the Bug #2127892, the xserver-xorg-video-vmware
package is removed.
I have attached a screenshot to show the screen settings and the problem
( blank screen ).
