After having installed the update from 6.17.0-6 to 6.17.0-7, same problem and same resolution (as suggested by Glenn) for me: I disabled the network shares in fstab, and restarted.
I configure the network shares with the following settings - any suggestion, how to configure them so that they do not block the boot process? noauto,nofail,x-systemd.automount,x-systemd.mount-timeout=30,_netdev -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2129972 Title: Ubuntu 25.10 can't boot with 6.17.0-6-generic kernel on encrypted fs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdump-tools/+bug/2129972/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
