It's started happening again. The internal speakers keep transferring to Line-out and then back again multiple times a minute. It can be heard on the speakers as an audible click every time the switch occurs.
Inserting headphones stops it happening. I've tried setting the profile in the Plasma settings app, the stock Gnome/Ubuntu settings app and pavucontrol, but nothing seems able to stops this. None of the "Pro Audio" profiles seem to work, I'd like to remove them. But I can't get my head around how the sound actually works. It seems to be a mishmash of Pipewire, Pulse, Alsa, Jack, Uncle Tom Cobley and all. I'd like to tear it all out and re-install just the drivers for my sound card, but where to begin! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2121583 Title: KDE / Plasma keeps changing speaker source To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2121583/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
