Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:
```
Processing triggers for initramfs-tools (0.147ubuntu1) ...
/usr/sbin/update-initramfs: invalid option -- 's'
Usage: update-initramfs {-c|-d|-u} [-k version] [-v] [-b directory]
Options:
-k version Specify kernel version or 'all'
-c Create a new initramfs
-u Update an existing initramfs
-d Remove an existing initramfs
-b directory Set alternate boot directory
-v Be verbose
See update-initramfs(8) for further details.
```
debian/initramfs-tools.postinst calls update-initramfs -u -s
"$timestamp". The -s option was added in initramfs-tools 0.147.
The update-initramfs script is part of the initramfs-tools package. So I
don't know how you could end up with an old update-initramfs script
version with the new postinst.
Can you run:
sudo apt --fix-broken install
** Changed in: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
