Thank you for your bug report, that's because on Debian/Ubuntu "cal" is
provided by bsdmainutils, see https://salsa.debian.org/debian/util-
linux/-/blob/debian/unstable/debian/rules?ref_type=heads#L48
You can install the "ncal" package to have it
