Pi Imager versions prior to 2.0 are broken for the latest version of Pi
OS (released on December 4th, now based on Trixie instead of Bookworm.)

Old versions of imager do not apply login/SSH/wifi settings making it
impossible to use a Pi without direct KVM inputs. A workaround is to
install old versions of Pi OS, but it's not easy to realize one needs to
do this.
