@seb128, the patch would disable the spfft GPU backend so that libspfft1 and libspfft-dev are no longer reverse dependencies of the rocm packages being removed. The libspfft1 CPU backend would continue to work on ppc64el. The existing spfft binaries would be removed by the cleanup after the resolute-proposed to resolute migration, avoiding the need to do it manually.
The Debian commit for spfft that I linked included a few non-essential improvements to the package. I've opened up an MR for spfft with only essential changes to drop the ppc64el GPU backend while ensuring that spfft builds successfully on Ubuntu: https://code.launchpad.net/~slavik81/ubuntu/+source/spfft/+git/spfft/+merge/497087 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2134241 Title: Please RM ppc64el binaries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ggml/+bug/2134241/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
