This sounds like bug 1970389, which will never be fixed in Ubuntu 24.04
LTS. If you would like to use Wayland with Nvidia then please consider
Ubuntu 25.10, or wait until 26.04 LTS is released.
That said, bug 1970389 only affects Xwayland apps, like Electron apps
including Visual Studio Code. So if you can find a way to force all your
apps to use native Wayland instead of X11 then that should avoid the
issue too.
