Public bug reported:

Summary

When changing display scaling or text scaling in GNOME Settings on
Ubuntu, the UI font size increases, but the scaling value continues to
show 100%. The displayed value does not reflect the actual scaling
behavior.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Settings
Go to Displays
Change scaling (or enable fractional scaling)
Observe the UI font size
Reopen Settings → Displays

Expected Result
The scaling value shown in the UI should match the actual applied scale.

Actual Result
The UI font is scaled up, but the scaling value remains displayed as 100%.
