Thank you for checking. To clarify, the issue is related to terminal zoom, not system display scaling.
Steps to reproduce: Open the terminal Click the top-right menu (three horizontal lines) Use Zoom In (magnifier with plus) or Zoom Out (magnifier with minus) Actual result: The terminal font size clearly increases or decreases However, the zoom/scaling value shown in the UI remains 100% Expected result: The UI should reflect the current terminal zoom level, or at least not always report 100% when the zoom has changed I will attach a screenshot showing a visibly large terminal font while the UI still reports the zoom as 100%. This is also observable in a short video, but the screenshot should be sufficient to demonstrate the issue. ** Attachment added: "photo_2025-12-17_14-42-43.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/2136469/+attachment/5934326/+files/photo_2025-12-17_14-42-43.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136469 Title: isplay scaling value remains at 100% while UI text is scaled up To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/2136469/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
