I just got some new evidence from a production server from one of my customers. Yesterday, it suddenly stopped logging HTTP requests because of socket permission; no OS restart was involved:
[image: unnamed.png] I think this is no longer related to the installation package, but may be a problem of a different nature. I do not have access to this server. I recommended a restart of journald service to solve the problem without interruption of service.
