I appreciate, you answering and trying to help, but I do not understand
your answer. The bug title is to prefer SVG over PNG. I fail to see, how
your statement helps in this regard.

Is DE referring to the language (German/Deutsch)?  I have
*libreoffice-l10n-de* installed, but it shouldn’t affect any icons.
