I have a problem for some time now, that is related to confusion with
notifications. The situation is this: a notification happens, like a new email
on Thunderbird, or a command completed with notify-send, but on the screen is
an older notification that appears.
The correct notification appears in the notification area, but it's different
than the one that appears as pop-up.
