Public bug reported:
My system: Ubuntu 25.10
In a clean install of Ubuntu 25.10, the Nautilus extension `libtotem-
properties-page.so` causes Nautilus to randomly crash, particularly when
accessing directories containing audio and video files (Is it somehow
related to the old Gnome video player Totem? I don't have the app
installed, FYI).
I have attempted to extract a newer version of `libtotem-properties-
page.so` from Gnome 49.2 for replacement. Seems that Nautilus no longer
crashes after the swap.
Considering Nautilus is a core app for Ubuntu's DE, this issue has
impacted production environments. I recommend pushing an update to
resolve this problem. Thanks for your hard work!
