Public bug reported:

Today I upgraded 20.04 -> 22.04.
After the upgrade firefox spammed the console:

update.go:85: cannot change mount namespace according to change mount
(/var/lib/snapd/hostfs/usr/local/share/doc /usr/local/share/doc none
bind,ro 0 0): cannot write to
"/var/lib/snapd/hostfs/usr/local/share/doc" because it would affect the
host in "/var/lib/snapd"

but it worked more or less. If I tried to start a 2nd incarnation, firefox
gave, after a few seconds,
a popup window with "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use
Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your
device, or use a different profile."

The version firefox reported for itself was 146.0.1.

I tried to get a fresh firefox and uninstalled snapd and firefox, and installed
them again.

Now starting firefox yields "execv failed: No such file or directory", and I
have not been able to get a working firefox from ubuntu. Maybe the "is already
installed" points to a problem?
The current one is downloaded directly from Mozilla. Maybe Ubuntu no longer
provides a non-snap firefox?
