When starting in linux-image-6.14.0-37-generic instead of linux-
image-6.14.0-36-generic on my laptop, all sorts of things stop working:
- My laptop display is no longer recognized as a device and is not used, only
external monitor instead of dual monitor
- My webcam hardware is no longer detected, and "howdy" does not work. Camera
dev path missing
- No networking is present at all. No wifi, no ethernet, and menus for these
are missing too
Possibly more stuff too. All of this works just fine on the 36 kernel.
Possibly some sort of issue with detecting hardware devices? It's like
if a bunch of the laptop components and some USB devices simply weren't
loaded or something.
