Hi, thanks for opening a bug report! You have a number of ACPI BIOS errors in your Dmesg log, it might be a good start to check if your laptop manufacturer has any updates available to the BIOS.
If you're able to try a mainline kernel build, that would tell us if the problem is on Ubuntu's side or upstream. Our latest for amd64 is 6.18.1 (https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.18.1/) and we have instructions for installation here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds Please let me know if the problem goes away with either of those steps. ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ian Whitfield (ijwhitfield) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136834 Title: The screen is split almost in half and glitches To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2136834/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
