Can we just drop dependency from qemu-system-gui (and other modules) to qemu-system-any|qemu-system-x86|etc? With the new apt preferring packages from the same build, additional versioned depends/breaks/whatever isn't that important anymore. These days, when you tell apt to upgrade just one qemu-related package, you'll get all qemu-related packages upgraded in one go.
This way, installing just qemu-system-gui wont bring us any useful qemu binary, - just like installing zlib1g wont bring any (de)compression utility. Christian, you invested a lot of time to this issue, -- I'd say it can be applied with much better effect elsewhere.. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127053 Title: qemu-system-any brings in any system emulator with the new solver - should it be qemu-system-native?
