Public bug reported:

On Ubuntu 24.04 (GNOME Shell 46) with Intel integrated graphics, the system
works normally after login.
However, when I lock the screen using Super + L, leave the laptop idle for some
time, and then return to unlock it, after entering the correct password the
screen becomes completely black with only a visible crosshair mouse cursor.
The system is still running (keyboard and mouse respond), but the desktop never
appears.
This issue happens every time after locking the screen for a while and can only
be recovered by rebooting.
This does not occur immediately after login sometime happen but most probabaly
not, only after using the lock screen every time happpen.
