Thanks for the bug report. I can think of several things that might be
causing this.
First we need to rule out buggy extensions so please delete all local
extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again.
If the problem persists then next please try disabling the magnifier and
thus the crosshairs before locking the screen.
If the problem still persists after that then next time it happens
please:
1. Reboot immediately.
2. Run: journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt
3. Attach the resulting text file here.
