Public bug reported:

This content is needed for the VR platform. The Tegra256 patch is taken
from upstream to enable clean picks of the other patches, which are from
mature series taken from LKML. Both of these series are targeting the
v6.20 upstream kernel.

For testing, I verified i2c was functional on a VR system:

i2c-1   i2c             NVDA2017:01                             I2C adapter
