Thanks for checking mainline, if the problem is still present upstream then it's likely this isn't something we'll be able to resolve here, since we don't have the appropriate engineers or hardware to test with.
You are welcome to report the issue upstream, and I'll try to help point you in the right direction for that, but I also think more testing of your machine may be necessary to confirm that the firmware and system configuration are prepared to support EFI. Have you had success with EFI in other non-Linux OSes? Either way, we have a generic upstream bug report guide here if that's the way you want to approach this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/kernel I would guess your best bet for a mailing list would be linux-efi ([email protected]). You will likely want to try the very latest commits on the upstream tree to ensure you're not reporting a bug that was already fixed, we have a guide for building the latest tree at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138134 Title: Er starte auf dem Lenovoe T430 nur mit noefi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2138134/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
