This bug was filed on an older device (legacy BIOS; ~2007 HP Compaq
though upgraded many times since initial purchase).

I then tried on another device (uEFI; wifi only) and could NOT connect
to wifi..

Both installs worked; and I was accessing internet fine post-install on
both boxes; in fact on the wifi-uEFI box where I was unable to connect
to wifi using GUI tools (only), those credentials allowed me to install
perfectly post-install having been saved in the live session where they
failed to operate.
