In your case this is reasonably obvious so I am closing the bug.
For some reason you seem to have removed the default python3 package or
diverted its files and instead manually replaced it with alternatives
as evidenced by:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Jan 20 14:43 /usr/bin/python3 ->
/etc/alternatives/python3
On a supported system:
root@5132146c0935:/# ls -lh /usr/bin/python3
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Aug 8 2024 /usr/bin/python3 -> python3.10
