Considering the uncertainty about when this started to happen, would it be
possible for you to revert back to kernel 6.8 and double check if the
regression really started by using kernel 6.14?
Another consideration: the hardware in question is downstream of a complex USB
device (the Dell dock) with its own firmware and something might go wrong on
that end as well.
Would it be possible for you to test the audio device by connecting it directly
to the machine or to test the dock plus the audio set on a different machine?
This is helpful to exclude a possible issue with the hardware itself.
