Hello, Thanks a lot for your investigation and for sending the patches to us.
As the ath12k driver is an upstream driver, I'd suggest to follow the upstream guide you can find here: [https://wireless.docs.kernel.org/en/latest/en/users/drivers/ath12k.html] and submit your patches to the upstream kernel so all kernels could take advantage of your fix. Make sure the patches are properly formatted for upstream submission, otherwise they won't be accepted as they are now. On the link we shared you can find how to format patches for a correct upstream submission. Thank you. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Canonical Kernel Team (canonical-kernel-team) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138754 Title: [ath12k wcn7850] 5 GHz Wi-Fi broken in kernel 6.17+ due to broken frequency range filtering To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2138754/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
