Public bug reported:

When I start up the editor (version 46.3) with a couple of CSV files
loaded the processor fan starts blowing. The temperature of the
processor (AMD) rises to 70 degrees C. According to btop the app uses
273 MB which seems a lot. When I run the app "empty" all stays normal.

This is strange. Why does the app use so much CPU power? What does it
do?

** Affects: gnome-text-editor (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
