It appears that `sudo apt-get full-upgrade` has fixed the problem. It's really strange, though, because this install is only about two months old, and I've installed updates as soon as Discover (the KDE Plasma app store) notified me of updates. I guess I wouldn't have expected this kind of thing to have happened so quickly.
