> Did you do something non-standard to allow hibernation on your
machine?

This is my personal Ubuntu device, but I also use Ubuntu at work. From
the Ubuntu user group internally, and conversations with our IT org, it
seems there's nothing standard about hibernation in Linux. :)

It wasn't enabled by default, but I don't think it was out of the norm
for enabling it. I followed a guide similar to the following:
https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2021/08/enable-hibernate-
ubuntu-21-10/. I use a swapfile, not a swap partition.

> Can you describe what you were doing when you noticed the crash.
Playing audio over Bluetooth before suspending? Anything like that you
can think of?

Nope. I have no Bluetooth devices, audio or otherwise, connected to this
device. I don't play audio on this either, and the device spends most of
its life muted.

I generally use this as a glorified SSH client and Chromebook nowadays.
There doesn't seem to be a pattern in having specific applications
launched before hibernation, and this issue has happened straight from a
only-the-desktop-then-hibernated session as well.

> It would be useful to see your full journal the next time you get a
crash.

Will remember to capture this next time (wasn't sure what was surfaced
in these reports).

> A journal log, ideally with Pipewire debugging enabled

Pipewire is started as a systemd user service (filter-chain.service),
what's the procedure for enabling debug logging here?

> I would be great if you can report this upstream, you're in the best
position to answer any questions.

I can open up an issue there if you feel it'd be best. I was mostly
filing here because the error report content wasn't generally
accessible.
