Interesting -- this is something I need to investigate for resolute,
certainly (I'd tested that resolute *booted* under TFTP, but not whether
the flash-kernel mechanism worked under tryboot).
Can I just check one thing: do you have autoboot.txt available to TFTP?
Ordinarily, that's the file that tells the bootloader to look for a
[tryboot] section in config.txt as opposed to the tryboot.txt file
itself, but I can't recall if the bootloader attempts to read that when
TFTP booting.
I'll try and dig into this next week.
