Public bug reported:

On Intel Lunar Lake (IPU7) hardware, the kernel and firmware correctly
detect the integrated MIPI camera, but libcamera 0.5.0 shipped in Ubuntu
25.10 does not expose any camera devices (cam -l shows none).

Upstream libcamera developers have confirmed that IPU7 support is
intended to work via the Simple pipeline using the Software ISP, and
that this requires libcamera ≥ 0.7.0. Ubuntu 25.10 currently ships
libcamera 0.5.0, which lacks this enablement.

This results in non-functional integrated cameras on IPU7/Lunar Lake
systems despite working kernel support.

Expected:
Newer libcamera version (≥ 0.7.0) or clear documentation that IPU7 cameras are
unsupported in this Ubuntu release.
