There are many more bug reports like this, including
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/1249 which has a
similar screenshot to yours :)

In each case, upstream seems to be blaming all of them on translations
and assigning each bug report to a different language.

On one hand, I understand the view that the configured format should be
used. But it's not really a configured format listed under 'Dates &
Times'. That's just an example of what ALL the data would look like if
you asked for all of it. The gnome-shell panel doesn't want to display
all those fields so I currently feel upstream's approach of blaming the
translations actually makes sense.
